District Executive Committee
The District Executive Committee ensures that the district and its officers are working toward the achievement of the district mission. The committee’s voting members are the district governor, lt. governor education and training, lt. governor marketing, immediate past district governor, secretary, treasurer, public relations officer, division governors and area governors.
All District Officers, Special Committee Chairs and officers in good standing, so nominated by the DG shall be members of the d82excom group (d82excom@googlegroups.com) |

District Council
The District Council is the district’s governing body, subject to the general supervision of the Board of Directors. It conducts the entire district’s business; however, it cannot impose any financial obligations on clubs. The councils voting members are the District Executive Committee, the club president, and vice president education of each club.
The District Officers and Council Groups membership shall be updated by district Google group administrator upon change of member officers in respective roles at club / area / division and/or district level.

To promote free exchange of ideas, District 82 recommends members to join www.LinkedIN.com, a social and business networking site. Members can join District 82 Toastmasters Group to exchange their thoughts and ideas with fellow D82 toastmasters. This group may also contain non-toastmasters to encourage growth of the movement in our region. However, all official communication will be done only through the above mentioned Google groups. |
